How can I clean the wash drum in my fairly new washing machine?

I use Ponds and a hot washcloth to remove my makeup and when I wash these cloths separately, it leaves a film line in the wash drum. I have tried hot water, cold water, tried to wipe down the tub, washed with bleach, vinegar, just soap and selected different levels of water. I now have a pretty good build up of scum. The manual does not address this problem and online to the manufacturer has not helped. HELP!How can I clean the wash drum in my fairly new washing machine?
Absolutely ';hot'; water, regular detergent, bleach if you like, high water setting, add a cup of baking soda to the water and let agitate. Then add some heavy towels or dish towels that can use a bleaching, these will help wipe the wall of the drum as it agitates. It may take several washings to get it off if you have a heavy build up. You could also spray some CLR on the drum and let stand a few minutes then run a wash cycle with some cleaning rags to wipe the drum as it agitates. How can I clean the wash drum in my fairly new washing machine?
baking soda is one of the best things to remove grease as that is what is coming off the face cloths some people add lemon juice

good luck
Any water temp you like with 1 cup salt thrown in for good scrubbing action. It should work in just a rinse cycle.
Try Iron Out. It will clean washing machines, dishwashers, and even takes rust stains and yellowing out of clothes! It is sold as a powder in the aisle with dishwashing and laundry detergent. Small white plastic jug. Costs about $3(US).
When you do your wash, at the rinse cycle add 1 cup of white vinegar, this will take care of the scum on your drum, and it will also take any odors out of your clothes, that might be there. You can also use 1/2 cup of white vinegar and 1 cup of warm water and a sponge and clean the drum. this will definitely help.
My front laoder has a tub cleaner and I use a little beach i think.
Try filling the machine with hot water, then add two cups of chlorine bleach and a cup of baking soda.. then let it run through a complete wash and rinse cycle.
