not the pillow case. I want to wash the actual pillow...
Its an old style pillow made of feathers, very delicate and a one of a kind pillow that can not be replaced... the original cover has turned sort of orange...
I sweat a lot....How do you wash/ clean a pillow ??
yeap i would take it to a dry cleaner....seeing you think its precious.%26amp; one of a kind........
or peg it on the line, %26amp; hose the pillow lightly til all the outside is just wet.........NOT DRIPPING though .....
that takes dribble LOL sweat or what ever you call it away with those normal TONTINE pillows.......you know how they can get brown stains on em.........i toss them in the machine on gentle...............but not sure about the feathers, may be like a wet chook....if ya cant dry it right, %26amp; may smell... so yeah revhead, try the cleaners...to be sure...wont break ya...%26amp; it will be real fresh for ya girls too hahah y/k lolHow do you wash/ clean a pillow ??

I'm with Kate's answer, only line dry it, don't put it in the dryer.
id personally hand wash it then lay it flat in the sun, make sure you squeeze out unnecessary water/dribble/sweat/whatever lol
you can wash it in the washing machine on gentle and to protect it put it inside a regular oversized pillow case with the end knotted. you can also dry it on low.
if you are sweating through the pillowcase get a pillow protector, its a zippered case that gos over your pillow and its thicker, then net time you just wash that occasionally (you still use pillowcases)
