What is the best way to clean/wash a pillow?

These are just regular pillows. Nothing fancy. Is it okay to toss them in the washer and then in the dryer?What is the best way to clean/wash a pillow?
Yes, that is the best way to clean them. They will be extra fluffy, which is good or bad depending on your preference. Wash them in hot water to kill all the germs, etc.What is the best way to clean/wash a pillow?
You can put them in warm water in the washer and they can go in the dryer on low/moderate heat...

Yes, it works fine. I just did my daughters pillows last weekend.
if it is a bed pillow, and fibor, not feathers -down. you can wash them on gental, even add some bleach. if its a good down pillow- feathers, you should have them dry cleaned......but you can buy a dry cleaning kit from the grocery store or many other places and that is worth the money, and works wonderful for down quilts also. for pillows such as throw pillows for sofa or bed, check what they are made of . i do mine in the washer. and dryer.
I do with mine , as they are not feather filled, should tell you on the label the temp to wash them on I do mine every 2 weeks or so at temp 40c潞
To prevent bed bugs, it is recommended you keep your pillows for no more than a year. To clean them, put them in a garbage bag, then use your vacuum to suck out all the air. Then leave them in a really cold area over night. Just washing them will not clean them properly.
yep!!! they can be thrown in washer and dryer... make sure to get them really dry to prevent mold, and try tossing a clean tennis ball, or dryer balls into the load as well to separate the fibers for better drying and fluffier pillows.
