wash in warm water with a mild detergent on the gentle cycle, that seems to work for me, also shake out the rug before washing and dry on low heat. the heat is probably what made the rubber crack. hope this helps. What's the best way to wash/clean bathroom rugs with rubber at reverse side?
I have always put them in the washer, and then laid them outside to dry. A dryer will make the backside crack and fall apart.
Throw them in the washer with cold water. Let them line dry!!
wash in the washer the dryer is whats messing up the rubber side hang dry
Hmmm...I've never had a problem putting them in the cold wash on a gentle cycle.
Thow them into the washing machine on a cool setting. Let it air dry
Wash in the tub, but they are a pain to get out of the tub and put it in a basin to carry to the washer......
then on the gentle cycle -Rinse, Spin and drain.....only 1 at a time...
and dry hanging on the edge of the tub....dryer will destroy it again!
use soap and a garden hose. hang it outisde to dry when done.
in the wash machine with cold water...let air dry
